Hallmarking & Authenticity

Are your pieces hallmarked?

Yes. All Sarraf Jewellers pieces are hallmarked in accordance with UK law by an Assay Office approved by the British Hallmarking Council. The hallmark guarantees the metal purity of every item — so you can buy with complete confidence.

What does the hallmark tell me?

A UK hallmark confirms the metal type and fineness (e.g. 925 for sterling silver), the Assay Office that tested it, and the year of hallmarking. It is your assurance of quality and authenticity.

Delivery

How long will my order take to arrive in the UK?

UK orders are dispatched on a next-day tracked service. Orders placed before 2 pm on a working day are typically dispatched the same day.

Do you deliver worldwide?

Yes — we offer free worldwide delivery on all orders. International delivery times vary by destination; you will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.

Is delivery really free?

Absolutely. Free delivery applies to every order, whether you are in the UK or anywhere else in the world — no minimum spend required.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14-day returns policy. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return your item in its original, unworn condition within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. Personalised or engraved items cannot be returned unless faulty.

How do I start a return?

Engraving

Do you offer engraving?

Yes — engraving is completely free on eligible pieces. You can add a personal message, name, or date at the checkout. Please double-check your text carefully before placing your order, as engraved items cannot be returned unless faulty.

How long does engraving take?

Engraved orders are typically ready within 1–2 additional working days before dispatch. We will keep you updated by email.

Ring Sizing

How do I find my ring size?

We recommend using our Ring Size Guide for accurate measurements. It covers both UK and international sizing, and includes tips on measuring at home.

What if my ring does not fit?

If your ring does not fit, please contact us within 14 days of receipt. We will do our best to exchange it for the correct size, subject to availability.

How should I care for my silver jewellery?

To keep your silver looking its best: store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; avoid contact with perfume, lotions, and cleaning products; remove jewellery before swimming or bathing; and polish gently with a soft silver cloth when needed. Will silver tarnish?

What types of chains are available?

How do I choose the right chain thickness?

Chain thickness (gauge) affects both the look and durability of the piece. Finer chains (1–1.5 mm) are delicate and elegant, while thicker chains (2–4 mm) make more of a statement and are more robust for everyday wear. We recommend pairing heavier pendants with a thicker chain for added strength.

Can I buy a chain separately from a pendant?

How do I care for my chain?
